In all honesty, the pizza... read more We went to this restaurant with a tour group for pizza making. It is a tiny restaurant with a very friendly and service-oriented team. In all honesty, the pizza making class was pretty uninspired. More like watching one of the pizza cooks make a pizza. There was one opportunity to add your own ingredients to a pizza, but that is not exactly a pizza class. So, the class experience was pretty much a 2 out of 5. So, consider this instead a review of the pizza and restaurant itself. On that measure it was a solid to high 4 out of 5 stars. The quality of the pizza was excellent – crust, sauces, toppings. Service was good, although they seemed to lose interest as time went on, which drops to the 4 stars.

The quality of t... read more A dinner at Le Machine was a very nice experience. They had organized transport from the port in Lipari and to the restaurant in the mountains. The quality of the food was very good, especially the rabbit had a fantastic souse that must have cooked for many hours. The recommended local wines matched perfectly. It was a very nice evening to explore something different than the restaurants in Lipari. A lot of self-grown fruits and vegatables and a beautiful building, made this a perfect evening. After dinner the driver took us back again.

The service is excellent very good local wine Giovani, the host is a very nice person always taking care of his customers They organize shuttles from to Lipari which is very practical!

Our lunch was fantastic from appetizers to primi to main... read more We finally had the opportunity to return to this restaurant after 15 years ! Loved everything about it. Our lunch was fantastic from appetizers to primi to main course. For appetizers my husband enjoyed his tartar of shrimp and I loved my ravioli in pesto of capone and tomato in crema di zucca. The fresh grilled fish of the day was delicate and perfect. Staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive but not obtrusive . We even enjoyed the subtle background music. Great surroundings. Well maintained restaurant.
