Very disappointing. The recent reviews are right, this place is not worse it’s general rating. The waiters rushed us all night. Taking our plates while I was still eating my starter to throw the main on the table. The food is very poor and very expensive. Most of the waiters were rude. Very over hyped and overrated restaurant. The Michelin star is underserved and is used just to increase the prices on absolutely mediocre food.
Food is good. Special plates are offered everyday depending on the catch of the day. Kitchen starts early in preparation of home made pasta. Beautiful garden with tables around. Reservation recommended.
For a sophisticated culinary experience in a charming environment you should try this restaurant if you are visiting Lipari. Very good.
The staff is friendly, nice tables and good location. Food however is just average, price on the higher side. We'll not return.
Spoilt by the getting into the Lonely Planet guide? Food was good and setting pleasant, but the attitude was downright snooty once it was apparent we weren't going to spend 200€ on dinner for two. I would not go back. There are many more fun places around the Marina Corta at half the price.
