We went on a saturday evening with no reservation the staff kindly arranged a table for us while making clear for how long we could have it. The food was excellent and innovative not your average arrabiatta or calabrese, but a nice selection of inventive dishes. The gnoccis gorgonzola were excellent, the deserts deserve a mention. And I could not finish without mentioning the friendliness of all the staff. Highly rec... View all feedback.
What Klmorga doesn't like about Casa Italiana:
We walked to this restaurant from our hotel not knowing that they needed a reservation. We waited for about two minutes before anyone came to us. They acted put out that we did not have a reservation but they did find us a table. We waited at least five minutes before anyone came with a menu and another five minutes before they took our drink order. The wine was delicious! After we finally placed our food order we wa... Visiting the city of Linz wasn't such a great experience, but our two visits to this lovely restaurant made everything so much better! Such great Italian food and friendly people in a restaurant situated in a quiet street in the city centre
We stopped by with the family and were completely satisfied. very nice and attentive staff. fresh food and quality service. a piece of real Italy in Linz. we would love to come back!
Wonderful food, Top service and very nice Ambiente . We will come back again and again . Was Perfect lunch .
My and my friends were looking for some Italian place and we decided to go here based on the good reviews. We made a reservation by phone as it was recommended on most of the exiting reviews. Once there we were fastly seated (the place just reopened for dinner). Even thought it wasn’t full when we got there, the food took a really long time to come, we ordered starters which we maybe got ah hour later even though there were only cold starters, nothing needing actual cooking time. Main course also took another 45 min to arrive, so because of all the waiting times we were basically forced to be there more than 2 hours. Food it was impeccable though, super tasty and totally worth the waiting, but as an advice, don’t go there hungry! Staff super friendly as well!
Wow. What a culinary delight this was, and a great surprise to us to find such Italian quality and consistency in Linz. We went here on recommendation and reviews from Trip Advisor actually, although I'm always a bit suspect of just going by such referrals, but we were blown away by the quality and service. I had the spaghetti vongole and my husband had the ravioli with chicken and mushrooms and we were both in food heaven. We accompanied it with Southern Italy wine called Primitivo Di Manduria Terri del Sud which was a delicious red from Puglia. We will be back for sure and would highly recommend it. Oh and the service was typically Italian style warmth and humour. Loved it.
