Trattoria Aubergine - Linsengericht

The restaurant is located in a very appealing building with a large outdoor area, but is very far away in a small commercial area Birkenhain . Inside there are some accessories to imitate a Trattoria for inexperienced people. The menu is very clear, there is no pizza, which I very much welcome. Wines are not offered, there is a cocktail card with 5! Mix drinks. My question about a glass of Franciacorte would be answered with what is that? Don't worry, the Turkish owner and chef don't have to know everything. I chose Bruschetta and truffle-filled ravioli with fillet strips. The Bruschetta was ok, but the lush balsamic cream distributed me. The main dish were large ravioli filled with a tasteless, undefined mass. A few steak pieces. The whole thing was covered with an extremely thick cream sauce. There was a rocket and over it, of course, lush balsamic cream. From truffles or at least truffle taste lacked any trace. Unfortunately.

Salad was good, the beer was cold, but that was all. We were there with a big family and four children, after a three-quarter hour, the little ones ate the dust-dry baguette from the table. After an hour still no main dishes, while all other guests had ordered us but had eaten long ago. After 75 min I went with our little one because he had no more pleasure and was no longer calm. My steak from the aluminum bowl a good hour later.... Well, let's forget that. Perhaps a good restaurant, with children certainly never again. The reason was, by the way, the appetizer soup from the Opa, therefore the main dishes were “sliding backwards”. Whether it was just unawareness or unkindness, at least we don't want to find out...

On 08.07.2021 we had been in Aubergine Trattoria in the evening food. For me, after the Corona break it was once again an experience evening. There were many different dishes as we were 8 people at the table and all were very satisfied with the quality of the food. The staff and the boss were top, as already written, it was a very nice evening that will be repeated soon.

We used the delivery service today. Rigatoni Padrone and Ravioli truffles. Tastefully very good and still hot in delivery. Very recommended.

Away. Pleasant ambience with outdoor facilities. First doubts whether there was a good choice to come here when the serviceman welcomed a guest with a handshake and hug, this is currently an absolute NO GO. The chosen wine, a Pinot Grigio, was very flat. The Bruscetta were unfortunately not dead, only 3 slices of baguette at an elevated price. I was very pleased with the scavenger with mushroom cream sauce, unfortunately an ordinary roast sauce with a few mushrooms was served. No hint of cream at the sauce, for this the panned carving was drowned with it instead of serving the sauce separately, the crispy panade was ruined. Tastefully it was OK. The pasta with asparagus was also OK. Repetition risk against NULL
