This was not what h... read more What he ended up being charged for was a king-size kebab, extra cheese, extra chili sauce, a garlic naan, and yet another portion of cheese. This was not what he ordered, and even if it had been, what arrived was far from the expectation. We received a small tub of meat topped with a sprinkle of cheese, a garlic naan with just a bit of cheese inside, and a plain garlic naan on the side—no extra sauce, just the typical sauce you'd find with a kebab. After waiting over an hour for our food, we were understandably frustrated. I called to complain about the incorrect order, but the woman on the phone was incredibly rude. She insisted that since that was what we had been charged, that was what we should have received, completely missing the point that our order was entirely wrong. Even if it had been correct, it didn’t resemble a king-size kebab at all! The representative was dismissive and never once apologized for their mistake. When she finally offered to resolve the issue, her idea of a solution was simply to ask for her the next time we ordered. I mean, how does that help us tonight? It doesn’t—thank you very much! After being served raw chicken and day-old chips and kebab meat from Zio G's Linlithgow before, this is definitely the last straw. We won't be spending another penny here. If they are properly trained then they would know blackened or burnt food creates acrylamide, a dangerous chemical that causes cancer. The fact that this was sent out the kitchen THIS black is shocking. I am a chef, I am trained in this and I would never have sent this not just because of quality but because of the danger. Any one reading this, never accept burt or blackened foods. The meal I got (calzone) had to be taken apart to remove the burt parts so I could atleast eat something. 2nd photo is of a direct note to the shop saying NO SALAD DUE TO ALLERGEN and guess what.... salad was included.
