Scilio - LINGUAGLOSSA

The food was pretty good. But the wine was better. The host and his family were very accommodating to my group. They spoke very good English. The owner wife is from Britain so it was no problem understand the culture of the wine and food. Will definitely go there again.

Came here for lunch and wine and both were fantastic. The lunch was very well done and I love meat grilled with lemon leaves. The wines are great and we left with some for later. We will be back.

Went here for a private winetour and tasting. Extremely nice and personal guided tour by Guido followed by a tasting of 5 of their wines. Their Orpheus Etna Rosso and their passito Sikelios where absolutely gorgeous and we bought some bottles to take home. Send them an email in advance and book a tour and tasting you will not be disappointed!

We spent two weeks in Sicily and staying at this family vineyard (2 nights) was among our favorite experiences on this trip. The highlights were the amazing Sicilian dinners and the friendly and gracious hosts. And the surrounding landscapes were wonderful. Great location to explore Mt Etna also. We hope to return.

We stayed for one night at the estate, and were extremely well accomodated in all respects by the very hospitable owners. We have enjoyed also a tour of the winery, which we were offered. Great wine produced at the estate. Highly cosy stay, suggested to use as base for exploring the nearest cute villages or as a stop-over. Great restaurants not far from the estate. We arrived during Easter time so unfortunately were not able to dine at Scilio. But the restaurant is very popular among locals. Enjoy your very private and exclusive experience at this gorgeous estate!
