What Gennaro Herman doesn't like about Eggsmart:
eier bennie ordered with salmon. hurdle! what do you think? hollandaise was so watery that it looked like a sad orange juice. my partner had a 'bowl and the egg was so gray it looked like bad cooked ground meat, but was tasteless. View all feedback.
A very good breakfast. I had the Montreal smoked hash with 3 eggs any style an i liked it. Coffee was only fair but drinkable.
First time visiting this place, very impressed with the abundance of items on the menu. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food arrived in a timely manner and was nice and hot. I would recommend the restaurant for breakfast, lots of food, and very clean.
My wife and I spent 10 wonderful weeks in fenelon if and ate in the ground every meal on the veranda in the hut, which we rented with a beautiful view of the cameron lake. when it rained our last day, we decided to go to bobcaygeon to be break-proof and went to eggsmart when I had believed eggs benedict. first the good: my eier benedikt were made perfect and the riders were also good. the owner was extremely personal and a pleasure to speak. she told us how, despite covid, she could survive a very interesting story and stay in business. Unfortunately, she left before we got our food. now for the evil one! and it's really bad. my wife ordered the baja benedict on the basis of the recommendation of the owner. Nowhere in the description on the menu there was that it would put her mouth on fire! it was not possible. When the waitress came by, I asked her why it was so hot. she said it was because the cook puts the hot sauce on it. this was not on the description in the menu. my wife tried to wipe it off, but that did not help. my wife isn't a slave, and didn't want to make annoying. I said the waitress, it was too hot to eat. her answer was to offer hollandaise sauce to dilute it. my wife didn't want to order anything else than the whole idea was to eat together and I was almost finished when I put the waitress down flag to ask a glass of water for her. here is what the waitress should do: 1) offer to another meal 2) do not invite us 3)Excuse me they profusely for not warn us in advance she did nothing from above. we had to go straight over the street to shoppers drugmart to buy peptobismol for the extreme sodburne, which resulted from the hot soße (at a price of $15). we are all men and make mistakes; but this situation could have led to a positive result, and a favorable review had treated the waiter's situation in customer service oriented. when they read all my reviews, they will see that there are many positive ones. I'm not a chronic complainer or negative person. I doubt that this is the type of review or service that eggsmart office wants to see on trip advisor. I hope that the owner would have been there if she had treated the situation differently.
Been coming here a lot before Covid. and loved it!! We were served half empty plates , they forgot the fruits. And half the home fries. Spent $75.00 and left hungry.
We have a trailer in the area so Lindsay is our weekend home April till oct , this place has new owners this year and is using his wife and daughter to serve tables and have no idea.
