This was my first time at this restaurant and I was very impressed with both the food and the service. My companion and I had a delicious dinner for two, along with shrimp pad thai and ginger tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, with my wife particularly loving the soup. View all feedback.
What Madie Walter doesn't like about Chaba Thai:
The only Thai restaurant in town. The food tastes pretty good except the chef puts in way too much carrots in most dishes. I guess carrots are a lot cheaper than beef or chicken. View all feedback.
We ended up here on a Thursday night a half hour before closing and were the only ones in the restaurant. Apparently take-out is quite popular. Server was very friendly and told us to take our time -- no need to rush. Ordered the dinner for two special and it came promptly and was tasty and quite filling. Really enjoyed the lemongrass soup. We'd definitely go back and try some of the other dishes.
It didn't start well when I didn't get a beer to my dinner. The lack of a license could've been rescued by superb food. However, the food wasn't fantastic either. At least this restaurant was open on a Monday...
Had heard this place was excellent, so we three friends gave it a try. We were not disappointed. Sadly they were short staffed, but they got through it expertly, considering. For was delicious. Hot and flavourful. We will return.
Restaurant looked very low budget but had great food. would *HIGHLY* recommend the coconut soup, probably the most amazing soup i've had in my lifetime.
It's really nice having a Thai restaurant in Lindsay. I love Thai food and they have great food. I enjoy re atmosphere as well. I have been here a handful of times, only once did I find the wait to be long to get or food when we were the only table inside.
