I've tried pupusas before but I was not impressed. However, my friend recommended this place and I was truly pleased with the flavor of the food here. The pork pupusa was very delicious. Will definitely come back

Tip for Gringos: Each Pupusa comes with Cortida, which is the sides of Coleslaw and Salsa (small bags in the pictures). The Cortida mix is traditionally placed on top of the Pupusa as seen in pictures. Pupusas are just bread filled with your choice of ingredients. Good stuff. Ordered the Pejibaya con Queso (Fruit/Cheese) and Pupusas Revueltas (Frijol, queso y chicharrón).
Rhis place is a hole in the wall, but the pupusas are great, We love the one with Chicharron and cheese or Mushroom and Cheese there is even one with Shrimp and Cheese that is worth tasting.
Best Pupusas in Costa Rica and huge variety try the ayote and cheeze!!! they go for about 3to4 dollars each
