I also regret not going sooner so if you're beginning to read this, and you haven't been yet, please zoom over as fast as you can. Oteo is a restaurant right off of State Street in Lindon that features unique Mexican fusion dishes. If you were to tell me that they had a Michelin rating, I wouldn't bat an eye. Their food is truly comparable to such award-winning, sought out dishes. The environment is cozy, but also very open with a lot of natural light. The food looks good, feels good, and tastes good. The service was wonderful and also some of the best in town. One thing that makes Oteo stand out from everyone else is the originality of it all. Most Mexican restaurants feature your average ground beef tacos, enchiladas, nachos, etc.. These places give you processed, fatty foods that have made memes surface all over the internet for what happens to your body later. This is NOT Oteo. As aforementioned, you don't just come here for the pretty food, but the flavor of the food, and you leave feeling great, even if you had way too much to eat. There is not a dish here that I haven't absolutely loved and I crave it often. So in Michelin style, I will say that it is worth the drive from anywhere in the world. I wholeheartedly mean that. They are one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.
