Restauranteur Mauree... read more The previous time I have had lobster sashimi was at a large Chinatown restaurant. I was dining there with a friend who was a regular there. Restauranteur Maureen recommends the red lobster for firmness of the flesh; it did not disappoint, neither did the second...course of the legs shells fried with flat egg noodles. Bitter melon was bitter with sour salty preserved vegetables; steamed mince contained a surprise of calamari water chestnut; the flavour of the last 2 was a letdown after the lobster, causing me to withhold the top rating. Can't complain if this is what I'm eating in the suburbs.

But after 1:20 minutes of being assured our food was on the way we discovered it hadn’t even begun being cooked. I’d love to mention the food but I can’t as we left.
