What Wendy Ruecker doesn't like about Cafe Feoh:
Well there was something wrong this morning. Looked like enough staff, but not working together. Our breakfast dishes were fine, even if a bit mean on the mushroom portion. But all that considered it was the coffee that blew it. Both of us got that horrible flavour in our flat whites of milk jug not cleaned out or worse still reheated milk. A small local cafe on the highway, with a Vietnamese spin on many dishes.
We used to frequent here when we knew the previous owner; that was over two years ago!The new owner has added some decorative rustic finishing touches and nice easy listening music. The place now has a much better breakfast menu but it is limited. The coffee is fantastic, and my husband loves the bacon and egg roll.It is also dog friendly. We watched and listened to a poodle place its latte order :)
Came in for a quick coffee. Coffee was great. But the story of the origin of the coffee and the detail our host went into urged me to buy before I even tried it. Once I received my coffee there was no regrets. This blended brilliance is worth the trip for a cup. Definitely worth a trip for a bag of beans if you have your own grinder at home. Upsold to a lunch wrap. Breakfast wrap and Bahn mi. Both equally enjoyed. Chilli jam on the Bahn mi was sweet and spicy. I will be returning again.
Either way we only took a few sips. The sting in the tail as we drove away was when my partner told me that the coffee was $4.10 a cup. I pay less in Sydney CBD from best coffee shop on town. Anyway, hope this was a bad day or new staff as reviews suggested this as a good place, but not on this first visit.
Breakfast bacon and egg rolls are made fresh and are huge! Always quick service and the same quality every time. Its also very well priced and coffee is fantastic. If you are on the road early top here for breakfast
