On this particular evening we wanted to go for drive and find a place to eat along the trip but the traffic on a summer evening in Lindau can be so bad that we decided to park in their premises. This restaurant shares the location with the Lindau Casino/Spielbank. Since we had already parked we though we might as well check out the food.We found a good place overlooking the lake, it had awesome views and the waiter was friendly. They had limted vegetarian options and safe bet was to go with Pizza and Pasta. The food tasted good but what made the evening memorable was the views of the lake.

When I checked my accounts, both card transactions had gone through. Mistakes happen, but the response was extremely frustrating. It took almost a month to organise the refund. I had to email them again and again to follow it up. And when it finally came through, they short changed me - not by much, but on principle, given the inconvenience of it all, it was quite insulting. There was no offer of my service fee back or any kind of compensation. An abysmal disregard for good quality customer service.As for other comments, the food was average and probably overpriced. The waiter asked for a tip before I'd even had a chance to offer one. No wifi. The only genuine positives are the free parking and the view of the water.Find somewhere else.

El problema vino a la hora de pagar con tarjeta, el camarero nos indicó que la propina no estaba incluida, por lo que añadimos un extra al pago final, lo que consideramos que nos parecía razonable al servicio recibido. El camarero nos remarcó que la propina mínima obligatoria en Alemania era del 10%!!!!!!!! Obviamente no se lo dimos ya que vivimos en Alemania y sabemos perfectamente que eso no es verdad. Una pena que se intente engañar al extranjero de esta manera, es una forma de perder clientes. Obviamente por este pequeño detalle no volveremos ni lo recomendaremos.

Man kann es vom Hafen aus... read more Das Restaurant "Viamala" befindet sich direkt neben der Lindauer Spielbank, also etwas abseits der bekannten Touristen-Flaniermeilen. Man kann es vom Hafen aus zu Fuß bequem am See entlang erreichen. Oder man kann das Auto am Parkplatz P3 abstellen und über die Seebrücke zum Lokal spazieren.Wir wurden freundlich und aufmerksam bedient. Das Lokal macht einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Auf der Terrasse laden die Strandkörbe mit Blick auf den See und die Berge zum verweilen ein. Die Preise sind angemessen für das Restaurant.Auf der Speisekarte stehen Suppen, Nudelgerichte, Vegetarische Gerichte, Fleisch und Fisch. Dazu gibt es eine große Auswahl an Getränken aller Art. Cocktails für 5,50€ Top Preis.
