I visited HDBC as part of Lake County Restaurant Week, but I was disappointed with the experience. No one informed us about the specials, and I had to check my phone for the information. Great food and excellent service. There’s a nice variety of food options and beers, including both bottles and cans, presented in a way that’s not overwhelming. It's conveniently located near the Art Fair.
The menu is innovative, and the staff is very friendly. However, the music is quite loud, making it not the best spot for quiet conversations.
This was our first time returning since we stopped coming here due to their extra fees for credit and debit card payments. We had a wonderful experience sitting on the patio. The food and beer were excellent, and it was great not to incur any extra charges for using a credit card.
Food was surprisingly good for a brewpub, and the outdoor patio seating was perfect on a warm summer evening. We loved it and will be back.
Our server was amazing! She was so kind and helpful!
