While some customers have had hit and miss experiences with the food quality, most agree that the overall experience is great. The Easter Brunch was a disappointment, but usually, the food is excellent. The Venue is a fantastic choice for a nice date night or celebration. Some minor hiccups with order accuracy have been reported, but the staff is accommodating and willing to make things right. Overall, The Venue is a great dining option in Lincoln, offering delicious food and friendly service.
Emily was a delightful server. We had a halibut and Delmonico steak. Both were excellent choices. Halibut was super fresh and cooked to perfection. The steak was also cooked perfection and dairy, delightfully seasoned, accompanied by roasted potatoes and asparagus. Highly recommend.
A friend and I experience your happy hour occasionally. We always enjoy our evening. The happy hour drink specials are great and the appetizer menu is delicious . It's a great place to meet for an evening. It would be fun to see you mix it up with some new options for appetizers, say seasonally. I'm always up for something new.
Venue food is always fresh and delicious. We were there for lunch where people had the spinach salmon salad, chicken salad on croissant, club with sweet potato fries, and quiche with fruit. Everything was delicious. Great portions, too. The service was exceptional. Regan was very kind. She was attentive without interrupting as we were chatting quite a bit!
5:45 reservations was perfect time. Got right in and set down. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about specials and menu items and options. My salmon fixed medium rare as ordered and blackened. My wife had lasagna and it was delicious. Our friends had the salmon and ribeye. Both were great. This is a great restaurant.
My guest and I ordered the salmon. The amount of food for the price was disappointing! 4oz salmon and a side of risotto, which amounted to about a cup of rice. The small portion felt more like a snack than lunch.
