Cute little inside winery! Lots of different selections. I enjoyed a flight of wine, mead, hard Seltzer and hard cider ! Bought a few things to take home. Would come back if in the area again.
Zach was friendly and helpful with our flight tasting. Wine, mead, cider and seltzer were the testers. We also tried the mulled cider (hot) and bought a few bottles to go.Calm and quiet atmosphere with many choices to choose from*their mead was a new item, however it was a bit too sweet compared to other meads I’ve had (raspberry/blueberry/strawberry fruit combo).
Extremely knowledgeable! Great wine selection! Winemaker Nate explained in detail as to the process of each wine that’s made and included how new wines are invented/developed! Explained time length to process each wine, special barrels used or not used included reasoning why! Which grapes used/ skin off or on. Mixtures used to invent or make each different wines. Imports of grapes which states grapes were obtained in certain times of the seasons. More whites for spring/summer time and reds for falls and winters. Importance of length of time in barrels based on taste. Labeling and reasons regarding corks or screw caps. How to store wines for length of time. The important’s of certain wine barrels for flavor! All in all five stars! Wine tasting for each wine and of course can’t leave without buying some favorites! Recommend experiencing the tours, and purchasing their wines!!
