West End Fish - Lincoln

This is certainly not as faffy as one well known chippy on Burton road, and you do not get chips served with a slice of lemon, but what you do get is fresh fish and friendly staff every time. Average prices but above average food....Kebabs are also better than most kebab shops, and the chilli sauce is home made.

I`m from oooop North ,was working local and tried this place a couple of times. Great craic wi the lads who work here but even better they do propper fish n chips ,i`d go every week if they were local. Well done all involved

I think I have to check this place again to say that he has improved a lot since november. I don't think it's very well qualified, but the teig was crispy and more natural looking and the chips were boiled properly. will definitely visit again...if it keeps the standard.

Previously here is pretty good, but the new management does not seem to know how to use a frit. the chips were very oily and the dough on my fish was like a wet pancake. to finish it, they have made our order wrong.

I saw the sign under new management, but was not discouraged, as this was always a good chip, but perhaps this would have been missing a waiting-snake warning signal. the fish was beautiful, but the teig was soggy, undercooked and suspicious yellow....The chips were only acceptable, without color and taste. will not go back until they get dinge right.
