What Jonny I likes about The Wheatsheaf:
Visited with family. We had a baby with us, they were really accommodating. Sunday roast was a carvery and was outstanding. Three meats to choose from and, all great. Veg was limited to 3 options but cooked really well and the Yorkshire puddings and stuffing was great. Desserts were all home made and great portions. Outstanding value and a really good experience. The worst service I have ever experienced. Over 30 minutes for the food to come out, rather greasy and lacking taste. The barman and the waitress spent most of the time talking, we had to interrupt them to get more drinks. Table not cleared and no one came to ask if we wanted dessert. Watched one gentleman having to collect his own cutlery and condiments in order to be able to eat his meal! The waitress and bar staff... View all feedback.
