What User doesn't like about The Pessimist:
Lovely restaurant tucked away in Lincoln's city centre in a little courtyard. There was a huge drinks list but a more limited a la carte menu of three main dishes (of which one was vegetarian) may not suit fussy eaters or restricted diets but the food was very tasty and well presented. Lovely place.. Setting fantastic.. Jo and Paul fabulous hosts... Staff very welcoming... Spotlessly clean... Function room for 30 people... Food absolutely amazing... Drinks menu what can we say... Jo's knowledge on Gins.... Wow...
The Pessimist is a real gem of a place….. normally, you would expect to find such an amazing wine bar, in Manchester or London, not little old Lincoln! The choice of gin and wines is exceptional and the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. We had vegan nibbles platter which was delicious. You can tell the ingredients were top quality and creatively put together. The atmosphere is chilled and relaxed, and you can tell everyone is having a really great time. We can’t wait for our next visit!
Fantastic food drinks! We love gin so it’s the perfect place to try new ones we’ve never heard of, although some did seem a little expensive!
Absolutely lovely evening in the courtyard at the pessimist- delicious food and wonderful service from Paul and Jo and the team!
