Great find!! We really struggle as I'm vegetarian and my husband is celiac. The chips were GF which is rare and he had a few choices too. Could do with a veggie lasagne on menu (Just my opinion as it's my fave one of best...places we've been to for a while. Excellent service. Food was quick too. Great oldy worldy pub too!

The service at this restaurant is fantastic, with very friendly staff. The food is excellent and recommended for everyone, regardless of age. The outside seating area is dog-friendly and a great place to enjoy a meal.

I would give this restaurant a thumbs up. The prices are great, the portions are generous, and the service is good. It was also Halloween weekend which added to the fun atmosphere. However, I would suggest improving the decor and cleanliness as it was a bit lacking (especially since we had children with us). Despite that, I would definitely return in the future.

Whenever we come across this charming pub, we always have a lovely dining experience. After spending a delightful week in a holiday home in South Hykeham, we decided to have our dinner and Sunday lunch here. I ordered the chicken Diane twice, along with the coleslaw and chips, and the southern fried chicken. On Sunday, I had the roast beef. Each meal was cooked to perfection and served with a smile. Tony ordered the mixed grill, which was huge and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He also had the excellent cod and chips, the generous portion of gammon, and the delicious mushroom cake and roast pork for Sunday lunch. For dessert, we had ice cream with apples and rhubarb crumble with custard, while I had the syrup sponge with ice cream. We truly enjoyed every meal and the friendly staff, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for the warm hospitality.

I'm in for a quick dinner. the personal was not excessively friendly and we were not greeted at the arrival. eating was pretty good and good value for money. there are also many parking spaces. probably not back, but no bad meal.
