We happened upon this bar after a meal on the Brayford. It was bright and welcoming and karaoke night apparently. Staff were friendly (and tuneful) and even two of our group had a go. View all feedback.
What Big Ted doesn't like about The Dandy Lion:
Popped in while visiting lincoln over the weekend, the decor was OK tables clean (only about six people in there the drinks were fairly priced. Downside the pint of bitter was probably one of the worst ever poured flat I.e no head when I asked if this was normal the girl behind the bar was uninterested and said 'it 's not pouring with a head ! Great range of drinks, friendly service and comfortable surroundings.
Really friendly pub (dog friendly also), nice beers and a good cocktail menu. Oh and free G&T on Friday between 5 and 6.
Lovely staff, good prices and very spacious and pretty!
Food atrocious. Had some sharing plates. Chicken satay skewers bit into them. We're mushy raw stunk. Told our server. He took them away then informed us we were right. Don't worry we won't charge for them . Totally ruined the meal. Couldn't believe his response. Still had to pay for what we had less the skewers. Needless to say will never be eating there again . Beware
Very warm welcome on arrival, table of four visiting for food, good portion sizes and very tasty. Great selection of drinks and all the staff were extremely friendly and attentive! Will definitely return again
