We really like Brasserie Le Commerce better than anywhere else on the Place in Limoux. The owners are always welcoming, the staff are well trained and the premises is always kept in excellent condition. And the toilet has paper, soap and a hand dryer. View all feedback.

Le Commerce has no restaurant license (these are strictly regulated in France). So it's about alcohol sales. The local Brits represent a large percentage of their seasonal sales, so you would think that it is in a covid era at the end of the season after its Brit customer. You'd be wrong. I stopped there to eat something quickly done and drink a refreshment. It was 2:00. The owner informed me that he was not doing any restoration. On the other hand, he told me that at 200 m, there was a grocery store, that I could buy a sandwich and consume it at home. I found this very appreciable and very commercial. I recommend, especially since the location is very, very well located in the heart of Limoux, historic city. In addition, for walking around the city, the people I met were of an astonishing politeness. To hear each other say Hello, as before, without knowing each other, plunged me into my youth. Good day
