Milanesa - LIMONE SUL GARDA

I have been here with my family. it out of Limone, in the green hills above Limone. the place is family-friendly and my kids love the hugh garden to play

We stopped at La Milanese for coffee on the way up to the the mountain trails above Limone and again on the way back down for lunch. It was quiet but service was excellent and the lunch was simple but excellent Italian food. The location offers fantastic views over Limone to Lake Garda.

We have holidayed at Lake Garda ever year since 2003, either in Limone, Nago, or Malcesine No matter where we are staying we always try to make a point of going to this place in Limone as often as we can for lunch. It is the first tavern you would come to if walking down to Limone from the mountains. If walking to it from Limone, there's a lovely river walk, which has now been extended and goes all the way from the Lake up to the Milanesa. IIt is one of the prettiest walks I have ever seen, a little bit of a climb at some points but there are benches along the way Bar Milanesa is a lovely little place, and the owners are really welcoming to the point where they treat us like family now as we have been there so often. They serve lovely light lunches and now have a grill as well The wine is lovely, the beer is extra cold, and the prices are great. There's a little terrace and it is lovely to sit there, as you are virtually in the mountains and with a lovely view of the lake,

Staying at the top end of Limone as we were, this was our Local . And very handy for a light lunch too. It 's popular with walkers and mountain bikers heading for the hills. A simple lunch menu, with Bruschetta, slices of Pizza and the like, washed down with good wine and beer. They were doing some sort of BBQ Open Grill some evenings, but we didn 't try that. The guy that runs it is very pleasant and efficient. They also let apartments in the building their website is about this, rather than the bar.

Lovely bar and restaurant in the hills above Limone. It’s a steep walk up to the bar, but also an easy walk following footpaths. Well worth stopping off for lunch and a coffee. Great views over the lake.
