I just reviewed Hotel Le Palme where we had lunch during our stay in Garda. I did not realise the restaurant at the hotel had a different name. Apologies. We had such a pleasant visit here for lunch, we plan to stay at Hotel Le Palme next year. Very pleasant dining room; singing waiters who were joking with each other. Very sweet smiles. What Lindylou146 doesn't like about Al Lago:
Limone was very busy as the market was there, so it wasn't easy sitting down and getting a drink. Eventually we found a table at this little bar it was nice sitting and people watching but felt the drinks were a little on the dear side. View all feedback.
Shame and disgrace a place that does not respect the customers. Hostile and aggressive attitude. Besides taking your money you will get nothing
After ordering and receiving ice cream at the table, we were rudely ordered to leave as this is takeaway food. The place was 80% empty, so there was no real reason to make us leave. The ice cream was pretty average. The staff needs to learn a thing or two about customer service.
Please don’t listen to the negative reviews this place is an absolute gem that’s kept me coming back for 20 years. It’s a lovely family run business with excellent service, very very reasonable prices, delicious food, ice creams and drinks and a wonderful host in Stefano.
As a child, I came here every summer with my parents and it was a great bar, run by a very nice family. Tonight I returned with my own children, and the ice cream, drinks and service are still great. Don’t believe the bad reviews the bar is definitely worth a visit and is beautifully situated along the sea promenade.
Do not understand all the negative reviews about the place here. Wonderful ice and ice desserts, some of the very best here in the city, and their drinks are definitely not something. Nice on the promenade, so you have a delicious view of Lake Garda, and so a lovely atmosphere!! :
