What pedanticdiner likes about La Toscana:
I see a lot of critical reviews from the English. Clearly if you are not able to speak at least some French you should not go to a restaurant in France. This is mainly a restaurant for French office workers, and will be packed especially during lunchtime. I have eaten here for many years. The food is excellent and not expensive. Ignoring my poor French language skills in an Italian restaurant, this was hard work, waitress unable to understand simple things like garlic bread, or understand very simple things like my poor attempt to order wine in French, didn't think my French was that bad, can order wine in Spanish, Greek and English and had previous successes in French.
