Really good starters. Poached egg, with beacon, toast, tomato and avocado. The main course was a bit disappointing (the lamb), we ask for a rare preparation, but this was not done. Bafflingly bad. Asparagus and poached egg starter was taken directly from the fridge (you can see it) so unpleasantly cold. Salmon roll and mousse was full of bones. Pate de campagne was lovely. Entrecote overcooked and *full* of gristle and sinew: horrible. Truly, I've never understood why people praise Limousine beef. Potato chips were like greasy crisps (UK)/chips(US).
