We was here last night, it’s a restaurant that I had been looking forward to visiting for a long while due to all the good reviews making this one of the best i... read more We was here last night, it’s a restaurant that I had been looking forward to visiting for a long while due to all the good reviews making this one of the best in Limoges and last night managed to visit with my wife. I have to say I was a bit disappointed it just did not hit the spot service wise and especially food wise. The waitress obviously had quite a bad cold which was off putting knowing she was serving us our food Other than that she was fine and had reasonable English which was quite helpful. The food how ever was quite bland it was ok but that’s about it just ok nothing special at all and very disappointing it just did not have any kind of wow factor, o could have had this quality of food in many many restaurants, so e of it came out quite cold and Luke warm. The starter of foie gas was just this some of the dish was cold some like warm and the main was not much better. The desert which was chocolate based was ok but again just ok and nothing special. However the cheese was nice. Having visited down other restaurants near by ie Philip Reddons and La Chalet this restaurant falls quite shot of these when it comes to quality service and more importantly the quality of food. So to recap a ok restaurant bit quite basic food, The only saving grace was the bill which come to only 150 euros. By all means go but do not expect to be blow away by the food. Compared to a basic London good restaurant this one would be towards the end of the list and would be more what you would find in any high street.
