Very greek taverna, the best we have been to so far. The staff was friendly and attentif. They will offer to you 3 small appetizers, dessert we got orange cake with ice cream) and fruit, totally free of charge. We ordered from the menu 2 more appetizers and 2 main, one was a delicious pork stew in tomato sauce and the other was chicken souvlaki, and 2 big beers. Everything was very tasty, and the bill was a surprise, we only paid 23 euros! This taverna is out from the touristic route and the customers were mainly Greek people, but if you are a tourist and you rented a car, this taverna in this little village is worth a drive.

To kipouli tou kaliou is a lovely restaurant in Choumeriako. The view is extraordinary, the food is delicious, fresh and made with lots of love by the gorgeous cook, served by the kind owners Despina and Georgios. The last time I went there I ate the Mussaka, the Fava and the Xoriatiki. And it was indeed the best Mussaka I ever had. Try it yourselfs. I would always come back here and although it takes about 15 minutes to come here with the car from Agios Nikolaos I can ensure that its worth the way.
