The Empty Glass - Limerick

The Empty Glass was rather lacking in patrons during my visit. The food was decent but not exceptional. My companion enjoyed the chicken wing starter, but my burger was a bit overcooked. The chips, however, were fantastic. The soup had a slightly peppery taste but was satisfactory. Unfortunately, the fish of the day was disappointing. While the service was good and the location convenient, I would hesitate to recommend it.

Everything was exceptional! There was a party happening, so it got a bit loud while we were eating, but it was manageable. The manager was fantastic; he was attentive to our empty glasses and was a pleasure to talk to. He was incredibly helpful and just an all-around nice person. I can't wait to go back again!

The manager didn't bother to inform us about the situation on the night of our reservation, which left me fuming. In fact, the receptionist herself had no idea there was renovation taking place. The lack of communication was frustrating, and I feel this restaurant should be renamed "The Empty Plate."

Food was fantastic and staff were lovely very friendly.
