Schwarzer Adler - Limburg an der Lahn

Pfifferling the fun time of the year in limburg, and I am so glad that we found the black eagle to experience it. an absolute jewel. fortunately they could insert us, it was pleasantly busy, which is always a good sign. frau t and I shared...a jakobsmuschelies) starter who knows the generousness of a German main thing. what a tasty perfectly boiled plump-queenies, a fresh salad dressed with a sweet balsamicum and arbor root and slightly boiled chantelle just held at this moment when the stalk has softened. my steak was the perfect “English” completely red, but without bleeding and woman t loved her carving and late zle with a pfifferlings sauce. beer was great and mrs. ts rosey glow witnessed the quality of the wein. the location is beautiful and the personal attention. in a city that suffers from a coat of arms of the “Italian” restaurants is a real German classic.

All staff were very friendly and it was pleasant to sit outside on a warm evening. the food proportions were huge, but the quality was average. we enjoyed eating here and eating was acceptable, but not great.

I had a pleasant meal and was very satisfied with my nobleseker. other plates looked good, but less special. I would recommend, but not expect, top class, expect very good.

Beautiful restaurant, right in the center of the old town (old part of the city). many sights (i.e. the cathedrale) are within walking distance. menu was nice with several seasonal decor. special requests were made service was about expectations. the staff was very friendly and helpful....They even beat places for cake and ice. we went to lunch and were a group when pax and a baby. everyone left the place happy. we recommend this place for lunch during the visit in limburg.

The restaurant is not really good enough to come back to, it's just standard German food with a rather average quality, only good enough to satisfy the hunger, but not to provide an enjoyable experience. Having that in mind, I found the food to be...overpriced.
