I called Trata restaurant before I booked, to ask for a specific dish if they can made it for me and they answered yes and I repeated my request at the table. When they serve me I told them that is not what I ordered and I questioned the reason why they told me that they could it. The servant stated that he does not know the reason why and that was his second job which I find it a ridiculous and unprofessional answer. The cook came and check on me from a distance, he never apologised or offered to make the dish he promised. I saw him laughing and making comments about me. When I paid the bill I noticed that they offered watermelon and sweets to all other customers except me. This is the worst experience that I had in Cyprus. I felt disgusted of how they treated me and that refused to acknowledged their fault. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

All w... read more Excellent restaurant owner/manager was very friendly, polite and hospitable. Food was a plus we have a grilled fish, grilled linguins and steamed mussels. All were beautifully fresh. If someone is looking for Mediterranean seafood, this is the place to be. We used to go to another fancier in the week, but it definitely didn't match Trata.
