Our waiter, Nick, was friendly and attentive without hovering, everything just flowed naturally, and the drink recommendation was spot on. Timing was perfect and the whole evening felt relaxed and easy. The borscht was genuinely excellent — rich, balanced, and tasted properly homemade rather than overly sweet or watered down. You could really taste the depth from the slow-cooked vegetables, and it felt authentic and comforting. If you’re heading to Mandarin, and happen to get Nick, you’re in good hands.
