I was so intrigued by the history of t... read more My dinner at The Met was fantastic. We enjoyed delicious food, drinks, and dessert in a beautifully decorated restaurant. I was so intrigued by the history of the building that I asked our waitress, Destiny, to tell me more. She introduced us to Liz, the manager/owner, who shared with us that the building was constructed in 1880 as part of the old Metropolitan Bank. The restaurant had repurposed old doors from upstairs apartments into dining tables and old radiator heaters into tall table tops, giving the space a unique and charming atmosphere. The food, service, and overall experience were top-notch. A big thank you to The Met staff for making our visit so memorable - we will definitely be returning!

The staff was friendly and provided us with great recommendations for both drinks and food. I will definitely be returning and bringing more guests with me! They also accept reservations, which is ideal for larger groups. The Tavern Burger was absolutely delicious, and the cheese curds were the best I've had in Ohio. The restaurant has a nice layout, and it was interesting to walk through the backdoor and see the entire space. In my group, we enjoyed the meatloaf and pulled pork sandwich, both of which were well-received by everyone. If I had to provide any feedback, I would say that the fries were a bit too seasoned for my taste, but I still managed to finish them all. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!
