He gave us a menu... read more We stumbled upon Manolo's while shopping in Lima. We were tired and just wanted a quick bite. We sat ourselves and the waiter was right there. He gave us a menu in Spanish and while we were trying to decipher it he realized our trouble and brought us the English version. While we could have figured it out, it was nice to not have to struggle. We ordered panini type sandwiches. When we were served we realized we could have easily shared one sandwich. They were both very good, mine with chicken, bacon, veggies and a local sauce, husband ordered a Cuban. We finished half of his and all of mine and had the remainder wrapped up for lunch the next day. On leaving we stopped at the front counter to order a churro to go. These are made hot and served in paper cones and looked delicious. Our waiter saw us standing there and came over and ordered for us. He was charming and helpful. The meal, 2 very large sandwiches, two coffees and a bottle of water, and the churro, were around $20.00 US. A bargain.

Would definitely recommend the churros and chocolate over the filled churros.
