Chicharroneria el Farolito - Lima

If you are looking for an authentic Peruvian breakfast at the weekend, this is a great place to stop for a classic chicharron sandwich. as they see from the photos, the portions are very generous and the service is excellent. they can sit inside or in the outside terrace. this is a popular place, so that anyway there early, if not, the line moves fast and everyone is very helpful to ensure that they fill their bauch with delicious breakfast.

Great place to eat chicharrón. large portions and delicious taste. space is easy, do not expect a chic service. just enjoy eating.

This is as authentic a fried Pork Sandwich place as you will ever find. You could go back in time years and this place would be the same. Limited menu outside of Fried Pork, with turkey and tamales. Drinks are available in wide variety: soft drinks, juices, coffee and tea's. The place is not large, with around small tables max. It's mainly a take-out spot. The fried pork is prepared right out front in an open air deep fryer and table, so you can see the freshness of the ingredients. Just as good as the best I've tasted and the advantage of the largest diameter) bread rolls I've seen in a sandwich place. It's as casual as a public spot can be. Clean but with few comforts. Food is Great!!!

One of the best places to get chicharrón and the service was great! This place was also recommended by a famous Peruvian chef as well! We went with a big family and they accommodated so well !

This is an almost ancient place very popular between the people around the city. The food still keep a very good flavor, not so strong and not so salty, very good to have a super breakfast in summer with the classics chicharrón and relleno puré pork meat, specially the loins and belly, but the chops are served with the same good quality and flavor. Enjoy the camote frito sweet potato fries on the side and of course this will be a whole meal without the onions with a touch of lemon and vinegar. If you have enought time to sit and enjoy I here you are welcome add a nice cup of coffee or a veri delightful te or a fresh fruits juice and you are done. Of course to take out is always and option. Not a stars place but a good one for a casual whole meal.
