This place has great service to do fun things for children under 8 and the food is fine. They also serve 3 different microbrows from Lima. The children's dishes come with plenty of food/drink/ice cream, which is always welcome!
Chakras is an expensive restaurant near the remarkable Pachacamac ruins. As with a number of restaurants in this area, the restaurant is in a walled connection with beautiful gardens and a central, green courtyard around the tables and bars. We ate here in September, so the southern winter, it was not particularly comfortable or warm (it all out on a covered veranda) but, it was clear that in summer it would be a wonderful place to spend a long afternoon. Both from the price and the atmosphere it is clear that the restaurant has pretensions - largely incomplete. We were a big group and had a number of appetizers - these were interesting and delicious. On the other hand, the most important courses were uninteresting and noticeable for their fatty meats and craziness flavors. There are a number of interesting teas and fresh juices, along with wine and beer and Pisco. Everything's pretty expensive. Bottom line is in beautiful weather, it can be worth the cost, otherwise, much better for less in Lima.
