I had a waffl... read more Vegan / gluten-free food is not a "draw" for me since I do not have any dietary issues, but I thought I would give this place a try for breakfast. I had a waffle which was interesting since it was made of rice flour - a lighter taste. It looked like they had some creative choices for lunch as well, but I have to echo some of my friends' sentiments that the prices for the meatless offerings seem to be a bit much for what they are. This point is underscored when you take into account the café's basic decor and inconsistent wi-fi...the precise opposite of what a café should be: cozy and inviting (a place you could imagine lingering for a couple of hours with something to read or your laptop) with steady connectivity so there are no hassles. Worth mentioning that the place for waffles in Lima is Que Waffles, not here.

I really loved the fresh green juice that I tried, as well as the unique design of the garage-like setting. However, the quinoa salad that I ordered, although it had tons of fresh veggies, was a bit lackluster – the dressing was cloyingly sweet which ruined the taste of the actual vegetables. The service was generally attentive, particularly by Peruvian standards.
