What User doesn't like about Sweet Africa:
First meal but not the last one! at the beginning a small restaurant with my wife for the evening ended with a great meeting and filled with belly! Royal plate and shared swelled lamb we enjoyed. ps: sorry not having had the time to take the mafé in photo it went in our belly highly recommend restaurant with a good atmosphere of flat houses and a service top View all feedback.
While visiting my son who is a student at Univ of Lille 3, the 2 of us decided to break the endless glutinous cycle of eating cuisine française and get something totally different. Not only was this totally different, but it was the best meal of my 2 week Paris-Lille visit. The Mafe' Poulet is one of the best chicken dishes I have ever eaten.
Recommend it to everyone For friend familly or collegues nightout..good music ..good food..nice cocktail..
We accidentally come across this restaurant while walking past and decided to give it a try. The chef was most helpful and helped us choose a dish (as we did not understand the menu as it wasn 't in English). The food was lovely. He presented us with a starter which was on the house/free of charge . The decor of the restaurant is done in an African theme and the whole ambiance is lovely. It really felt like an African experience . Prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return for another meal when we visit Lille again.
