Tumbled upon this place for a last minute tea. Service was very friendly and helpful and spoke great English. Food was excellent with good variety and portion size. Very reasonable price. Would recommend to all group types. View all feedback.
What Nadine Pons doesn't like about Milano:
We were a walk in off of the street on a cold rainy afternoon. Restaurant only had a few customers however we had to continually summon the waitress for extra drinks, coffee ect. Cleaning the tables seemed to be more important than customer service. Food was nice though, so if you are not in a hurry and are prepared to sit and admire the view then go. View all feedback.
Too many dishes and the quality is very poor. It is ideal only to have a drink for the nice place but nothing else. The service was good.
Have tried the Lasagna in almost every single restaurant in Lille and this one is absolutely the best. It is just missing a little meat and so you must add extra jambon de parme on the top of it. Yes, just tell them like the Montreal guy does and they'll know exactly what you mean. A heavenly meal.
Arrivé assez tôt, je me retrouve quasiment seul dans la salle ce qui ne m'a pas empêché d'attendre de longues dizaines de minutes. Le serveur était plus occupé à discuter au bar et le patron avait déjà un petit coup dans le nez ! Finalement on me sert ma pizza assez commune qui ne restera pas dans les annales mais correcte. Idéal pour prendre un verre entre amis avec vue sur l'avenue du peuple belge mais pour déjeuner ou dîner, il y a bien mieux juste à côté.
Visited an old school friend who lives in Lille. We went to her favourite Italian restaurant. As restaurants go it was OK but nothing to shout about.
Nous sommes arrivés au restaurant ( vide ) en premier. Entrée servie rapidement certes. MAIS arrive une table de 4 personnes qui est servie avant nous. Après plus de 45 minutes d'attente nos pizzas arrivent ( magique!!) Pizzas par ailleurs plus que médiocres... trempent dans la flotte, une tonne de grumeaux de farine et pâte pas assez cuite. On est mieux servi dans une cantine.
