Les Fils à Maman (lille, France)

Coming with two young children on Thursday February 15 evening, we were very well received by the two waiters (a man and a young girl) who were well aware of welcoming young children. Impeccable service but in terms of the plate, it's not serious. Prohibitive price for what is served. fish and chips first: we expect a good portion (go and see what fish and chips are in England), here the fish was very, very small (remember that half of the product is made up of corn crushed flakes) and fries were rare (a shame in the North) and not great anyway. The board is now €25. I was expecting to take a notch off my belt, that was a mistake. In total, 6 small individual servings of cheese or cheese-ham puffs, 3 breaded babybels, 3 potato croquettes, 6 pickles and very rare and puny slices of sausage. And a few potatoes that make up the number. At 15€ ok, at 25€ no, it's not serious. We are using standard ingredients (cheese, ham, potatoes, preparation without technical difficulty, very small portions. I therefore recommend this restaurant for welcoming kids, the excellent 10 de Célestin on tap, and the sympathy of both waiters, but clearly not to fill your stomach. In any case, it's not the experience you expect at your mother's house! Too bad!

Great family time spent in this restaurant. Children are very well received. The staff takes great care of us. The dishes are simple, typical, varied and very tasty. Nice concept but very poorly executed, doesn't know the difference between medium and rare and looks at me like an idiot when I point this out to him.
