It's quite cramped inside and the food is dull and tasteless - everything comes with over-cooked chips that taste like they're straight out of a packet.

Nothing special to say about that place but food was nice, traditional. The owner was friendly and the price is correct. We had lunch and choose the meal of the day (gammon... read more We chose this at random after a couple of trip advisor recommended places turned out to be shut for August. We had lunch and choose the meal of the day (gammon and chips with mushrooms) and I had a lovely chicken in a bun with sauce. The food was fantastic and the house wine was lovely. Eventually the desserts temped us to much and we had coffee with mini desserts and a yummy lemon tart with meringue. The service was quick and very pleasant, even putting up with our pigeon French: )If we have time we'll certainly be back! Certainly recommended.
