The service was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly, would recommend.

And the food is definitely good, even if you might not get something fancy.If you are ready to put a tiny bit more and go for the a la carte menu, there are some nice regional dishes, really tasty.Overall, that's a great place to go to.

Except L'Avant Scene, which we s... read more Wandering around Palais des Beaux Arts on a Sunday trying to find somewhere to eat. Almost all restaurants seemed to be closed. Except L'Avant Scene, which we stumbled upon by accident. Hungry and fed up with looking for somewhere to eat, we ventured in. What a find! The set daily menu was very good value. Main course was crab and avocado souflé. Yum Yum. The others in my group were also very happy with their food. Excellent house wine in a carafe. Better value than wine by the glass. I will go there again on my next visit to Lille.
