Our hotel was away from the main city so stumbled across this tiny turkish restaurant when hungry. We weren't expecting much and didn't really know what we were ordering from a small menu. The owner didn't speak English but was very welcoming and he also doubled up as the cook which was made to order when you had chosen. The meal was lovely and we were pleasantly surprised.
I was in my first week in lille with my partner. the man who manages the restaurant speaks only French, but we do not. we have moved very easily and helped us to get the botanical about us and prepare kebabs for us. some cheap tasty kebab. after some sightseeing in lille! by the way, some people have recommended us the pizzas in this restaurant, so we will surely come back!
