The conditions and the traffic in that Northeastern town were discouraging even for a stay in that most important town. We found Dunkirk singularly inhospitable for a free-wheeling group of itinerants. The brasserie was simple and solid and well peopled by locals and all we had was tasty and honest and atmospheric and friendly. A most decent traditional establishment View all feedback.

Nice friendly staff, food ok but greatly let down by the extortionate price of the wine. With 50 euros for a house red and 35 euros for a half bottle, we had beer instead which spoilt the night. The bill was still 360 euros for 6 people have 2 courses. Not worth the money. View all feedback.
We had the best lunch at Brasserie Andre. Great service in warm cosy old fashioned setting with delicious food. Every dish was exceptional. The profiteroles with hot dark chocolate sauce ended a great meal.
Traditional restaurant great food wonderful atmosphere. Situated in heart of city. Felt like going back in time.
A great recommendation from someone at our hotel. The service was very friendly and helpful, the food came promptly and meal was of a very high standard. Very tasty and good portion sizes. We would happily visit again.

J ai appelé à 19h59 pour réserver une table et la personne m a répondu que les réservations se prenaient entre 17h30 et 20h. Il a donc refusé de prendre ma réservation en me demandant de passer et espérer avoir une table libre. J ai d abord cru à une blague mais non !! J ai confirmé que j arrivais dans la demi heure mais non...pas de réservation.Dommage car on y mange bien mais un tel accueil nous a coupé net l envie d y diner et d y aller désormais .
