Au Boudin Bar - Lille

A great bar near to the Novotel I was staying in. A really good selection of beers, the weakest at 5% was Carlsberg. Good owners/bar staff, friendly and engaging who made allowances for my very poor French! A good place for a beer.

Looking for somewhere close to our apartment that could cater for someone with a food allergy, we called in to the restaurant on the off-chance.They said it would not be a problem, explained which items on the menu were suitable, and went out of their way to be helpful. The food was delicious, service friendly and we had no unpleasant after-effects.If we were staying longer in Lille, I would be very happy to return here.

I have been to this restaurant 4 times now and without doubt this is one of the better restaurants in Lille the food is great staff multi lingual polite and professionalA bit more expensive that other restaurants but this reflects the quality of service and food would recommendBrian

Table seating was awkward as we sat alone whereas all the other guests were seated somewhere else. The food was OK but the prices too high.

We came in quite early without a reservation and asked if there were any vegetarian options, though there were none on the menu outside. No easy vegi solution, but a creative and fullfilling meal! We were offered a great dinner and enjoyed every bit of it! Great food, very friendly staff!! (Also, the 400g Irish Entrecôte was amazing)
