What AJ R dislikes about Zouki's:
Going to Zouki's at the Glen Site is a gamble when it comes to freshness. Some days the salads appear to be more fresh and other days they look like they've been sitting out for a few days... moreover I could not eat the food I ordered the last time I went because I watched as the guy preparing my food wore blue latex gloves as he prepared and touched my food, then touch the cash register to charge my order, then pro... Yes, all while wearing the same pair of gloves. Needless to say it was very much unsanitary and made me question the cleanliness of the restaurant as a whole. Every single vegetable in my fatouche and tabouleh were wilted.the salads have been out minimum two days. even the lettuce inside my sandwich was wilted, we threw away the salads as they are. shocking as this is at a hospital!!!! there was almost no garlic sauce inside my sandwich. very disappointed never again

One of the few easy to access Lebanese take-out counter in the area. Very delicious pitas including the shawarma (a bit dry) and the shish taouk (my preferred pick). A good selection of salads. Very quick service even when lineups can be quite long during the lunch time. Price-wise, it's about 15-20% more expensive than what you can get at other place, but for its location within the MUHC Glen hospital, the higher price is offset by its convenient location. Many seats/tables in front of the restaurant, but you might have a hard time finding one free during lunch time. A good bet for lunch otherwise!

This Zouki's location is in the PK Subban Atrium of the Montreal Children's hospital at Glen Yards. The food is Lebanese, with my favourite being the shish taouk platter. They also have a kids menu which makes sense given their location! Friendly service and the food tastes good. Finally more options that aren't cafeteria food at a hospital!

I had a fantastic experience at this Lebanese fast food spot located in the Children's Hospital. The service was quick, though not overly friendly, but that didn't bother me because the food was excellent. The portions are generous; I had enough for both lunch and dinner from one meal. I ordered the mixed plate with shawarma and shish taouk, which cost $14 including tax. However, they forgot to include the hummus, so make sure to double-check your order! The chicken and beef were incredibly tender, surpassing other fast-food Lebanese options I've tried, except maybe Boustan. The potatoes and rice were delicious, but the salad was a bit too wet for my liking. Overall, there was a nice balance of meat, veggies, and carbs. I would definitely return the next time I'm at the hospital!

Located in Montreal's super hospital, the Glenn, within the PK Subban Atrium, this restaurant has become a popular spot for many hungry hospital staff. I've visited numerous times, usually opting for either their chicken shish taouk or the shish taouk platter. The chicken is expertly seasoned with a hint of grill flavor. Their garlic sauce is delicious, making it a challenge to eat too much when you still have to work and interact with others. The potatoes, on the other hand, are greasy, garlicky, and simply irresistible. Their poutine is also quite good. They offer a variety of salads, making it very vegetarian-friendly. However, during busy lunch hours, they sometimes forget your order and may ask about it two or three times, but overall, the staff is friendly.

I agree that the staff at the counter aren't the friendliest, but they're not rude either—just a bit serious. The portions and prices are unbeatable for this quality of food. Everything tasted fantastic. There were some big guys in line ahead of me with heaping plates of food. I'm not sure if they were regulars or had placed special orders. My plate was about half the size, but it was still plenty for someone with a hearty appetite (6 feet tall, 200 pounds). When I asked one of the staff about their specialty, he pointed to the chicken rotating behind him. Take that as you will.

I wish I had a better review for Zouki's... I bought the small chicken poutine because I had heard great things about it, but the fries were undercooked and of low quality, the sauce is very thin, probably because they're trying to cut costs and finally, the chicken was dry and uninteresting. One of the worst poutines I have ever had. I will not be back. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
