Decent broth and chewy rice noodles. I got the first one which was the spicy pork broth. It was flavorful and not too spicy. The noodles were chewy and not soggy even after simmering it in the broth. You get 3 slices of pork, 1 fish tofu and some veggies to mix in your broth. One of my friends tried the kimchi fried and it was spicer than mine but also delicious. What Wendy A doesn't like about Nouilles Du Yunnan:
I ordered the tomato rice noodles soup and the broth is very thick and tomato-ey. The noodles are well cooked and not soggy at all. The free extra noodle portion is fairly large so I was way too full after slurping all of it! The was a random piece of raw meat on our table when we were seated which was a bit gross, hence the lower rating. I really liked the decor though. View all feedback.
A gem!! Rich broth (made without powder) with fresh and plentiful ingredients served in a clean and charming space by a super kind and helpful dude. If you're waiting in that line across the street, forget it and cross over it's worth it!
Service was quite fast and staff is nice. I just personally think the tomato soup wasn't my thing
Perfect, I could eat there everyday for the rest of my life! Service and food is awesome!!!
Kan Bai is the cutest little restaurant, near Concordia's hall building. The Original Rice Noodle Soup and food is amazing and super filling, for a good price too! The employees are really nice and we felt very welcomed. Definitely recommend.
The food is good. But I feel uncomfortable with the service there. Probably will not go back.
