Rice Slurp - Lijiang

The food was absolutely delicious. I had a porcini reispack and it was super tasteful and a great snack. if I wanted to have a meal, I would buy two, but one was good enough for a snack! it was nice that everything was written when there was a vegan or vegetarian option. workers were knowledgeable and helpful!

Beautiful and cozy place, good for a drink and a snack, but not for a full meal.

Clear vegan options. friendly, English speaking, informative staff. the hearty rice packs are sufficiently large and tasteful. the fruit thin cut truffle oil crispy potatoes are amazing. unpredictable in the consideration that the ingredients are usually organic, local and free of additives.

It was wonderful to have a real vegan option on vacation in lijiang. I had the speciality reispack, feigenpuer tee and quinoa porridge.

Staying in Lijiang I wasn't expecting much but we found Rice Slurp easily enough right in the heart of the old town. The staff were really friendly, the girl who served us spoke excellent English and everything was in Chinese English. We had the two vegan options, rice pancakes one with a spicy savoury flavour, the other a sweeter more dessert type option. We also had the freshly made crisps with truffle oil a hot drink of pine nut milk which was very tasty. A great little find when there's limited choice in the area. Just down from here we found a cafe bar with an Oatly sign so I got my coffee fix sorted.
