Panda Express - Lihue
Panda Express
Description
Panda Express continues to be a familiar fixture in the fast-casual dining scene, yet experiences can vary significantly. While some patrons rave about the freshly made, piping hot dishes and new menu options, others express frustration with inconsistent service and portion sizes, particularly during closing hours. Issues such as early shutdowns, limited sauces, and unavailability of menu items can detract from the overall experience. Despite these drawbacks, many fans appreciate the reasonable prices, generous portions, and friendly staff. The consensus suggests that while Panda Express may delight some, others might seek better service and consistency elsewhere.

I'm not sure why they advertise being open until 8 PM. I walked in at 7:40, and it seemed like everything was already closing down. I ended up with basically just the leftovers, with only three main dishes that were almost empty. I was informed that I could only take four sauce packets for the two large meals I purchased. There are better options available for the price and customer service. I don't think I'll be returning.
I ordered through Uber Eats, and the driver arrived right at closing time only to find the doors already locked. They answered his knock but refused to deliver my order, which I had placed an hour earlier. It seems silly not to simply hand over the already prepared food.
Service seems to be ?hurried? and not in a good way? Just feels rushed. Fried rice was burned. Soda was flat. Eh. There are better places to eat than this spot. But I?d eat here if I were drunk or stoned and didn?t care about how things taste.
Fast food Chinese places serve huge portions... not here. Too expensive for the amount they give. Many other better options
