A really busy evening for a Friday fish and chip supper. These special suppers occur once a month if not once a fortnight in the winter. Fish was divine and the chips not bad but could be crisper. Pudding served too....very nice. This is the second evening like this we´ve been too and it seems very popular. Great service by one of the waitresses, the other looked decidedly unhappy. What User doesn't like about Le Sapin Vert:
Friendly welcome, large log fire took chill off a winter's day. Fish and chips were tasty but disappointed with the quality of the fish and size of portions. Offering bread and butter and maybe tea as well as coffee after might be a good idea. Some cutlery was less than perfectly clean delivered via waitresses pocket! Reasonable value for money. Nice little village to visit. View all feedback.
Very british restaurant . warm welcome .service impeccable..cuisine simple but delicious... great thanks to our English friends for their dynamism. It's very soon.
We visited 11/08/19 and had steak and fries, with a nut pie. Both were amazing. The hospitality was 10/10 and despite the visit on a wet and dark day, the guests lit our day. I have nothing to say to this charming restaurant. (avis d'origine) visited 11/08/19 and had steak and chips, with a walnut tart. both of which were amazing. the hospitality was 10/10 and despite visiting on a wet and gloomy day the hosts brightened our day up. Can’t fault this charming restaurant.
